Membership
Membership is reviewed individually.
The Forum is deliberately kept focused: an independent community of the people responsible for Metro Vancouver’s industrial real estate.
Every prospective member has a short conversation with us before membership is approved.
Who the Forum is for
Direct responsibility
Membership is intended for people with direct responsibility for the ownership, development, management, operation or occupation of industrial real estate. The criterion is responsibility, not title — the Forum is built around what you answer for, not what your card says.
Principals and senior professionals
Membership is designed around principals and senior professionals with direct responsibility for industrial property and facilities. Third-party service providers are generally not eligible for standard membership, though selected experts are invited to gatherings and contribute to research.
Participation
Members should have a genuine interest in the broader industrial community. The Forum works because the people in the room are willing to say something useful about what they are actually seeing.
What membership involves
Intelligence on what you are responsible for
Register the industrial assets you hold or run and the Forum prepares periodic intelligence around those specific properties — comparable activity, leasing conditions, planning applications nearby, and the considerations that follow.
The Quarterly
Four private gatherings a year with other members and, when it adds something, one invited guest. No ticket sales, no programme, no presentation from a sponsor.
The network
Understand who else belongs without anyone's private information being exposed. Introductions are requested through the Forum and only ever made with both parties' agreement.

Common questions
- Is there a membership fee?
There is currently no membership fee, and the quarterly gatherings are complimentary to members. If that ever changes, existing members will be told well in advance and will not be enrolled in anything automatically.
- What happens after I request membership?
Every request is read by a person. Where it looks like a fit, we arrange a short conversation before membership is approved. Where it does not, we will say so rather than leave the request open indefinitely.
- I advise or sell to industrial companies rather than being responsible for property. Can I join?
Standard membership is reserved for principals and senior professionals with direct responsibility for industrial property and facilities. Advisors, brokers, lenders, planners and other specialists are occasionally invited to a Quarterly as guests or contribute to research — which is a different thing, and works better for everyone in the room.
- Will my name or my organisation appear publicly?
Not unless you choose it. The member directory is opt-in, portfolio information is never published, and contact details are never exposed — introductions are requested through the Forum and made only with both parties' agreement.
- Do I have to register properties or facilities?
No. Registering the industrial assets you are responsible for is what allows the Forum to prepare intelligence specific to them, so most members do it, but it is optional and entirely under your control.
Requesting membership takes about two minutes.
Five short steps. Nothing is shared with anyone, and nothing happens automatically.
