Privacy

A membership request collects your name, organisation, contact details, the markets and scale of your responsibility (as a band, never an exact figure), and anything you choose to tell us. The contact form and newsletter collect what you type into them. The site itself sets no advertising trackers.

Members may register properties or facilities so the Forum can prepare intelligence around them. That information is visible only to the member and to explicitly authorised administrators. It is never published, never shared with other members, and never used for any purpose other than preparing the member's own intelligence.

The directory is opt-in. A member who opts in chooses what appears: name, company, role, geographic focus and area of responsibility. Contact details are never listed. Introductions are made through the Forum, and only when both parties agree.

If analytics run on this site, they are aggregate and used to understand what content is useful. No analytics data is joined to member records.

Form submissions and member records are stored with the Forum's hosting and database providers. Transactional email is sent through the Forum's email provider. A current list of processors is available on request.

Membership requests that do not proceed are deleted after a reasonable review period. Member records are kept for the duration of membership and deleted on departure, subject to legal retention obligations.

You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, through the contact page. British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act applies; the precise notices required under it are part of the pending legal review of this document.
